« Les Travailleurs de l’Ombre » is an ongoing project I’m currently working on. The project is about the workers of the STIB (Brussels Public Transport). I was curious to see what was hiding behind the Brussels network of buses, tramways and subways- who was working there, which engines they were using, and so on…
So I followed, for a year, the workers in their various workplaces, day and night: stores, garages, workshops, tracks, subway tunnels… I found men of all social classes, and a multicultural environment much like the Brussels of today.
